Bunker Hills Event Center Wedding Photography | Jennifer & Tom | Highlights

As the sun shown bright through the windows, we all thanked God for a beauitful day for Jenny and Tom's wedding.  Once Jenny laid eyes on tomorrow fully dressed for the first look, the rest of the day there was little that could take her smile off her face. Jenny floated down the aisle with her father on her arm with eyes locked on the prize.  Their ceremony photos are my personal favorite. This was the first wedding I was in the wedding party and shot! It made for a little bit crazy time back and forth, but I knew I was in good hands with Marcus as my Second Shooter!

As the reception started, you could see everyone visibly relax now that it was time to party! Jenny and Tom LOVE board games so they had a whole separate table of board games for everyone to play during the reception if they didn't want to dance.

Towards the middle of the reception we ran out to capture some of my favorite portraits of the day, sun set photos. Jenny and Tom's veil shot still makes me swoon. 😍

Congrats to my beautiful sister Jenny and her new Hubby Tom!!

Enjoy their highlight video of their lovely wedding day at Bunker Hills Event Center.

St. Paul Portraits | Katrina Shiri

Katrina is a mother of 2 blonde haired/ blue eyed young boys and a wife to her very tall husband.

She cares for her boys, while also starting a new journey with Origami Owl, a growing jewelry company that uses lockets to tell a story. Even though she is just starting out , I can already tell she loves it. (I bought these BEAUTIFUL earrings from her!)

Katrina Shiri was a fast friend I made in middle school.  Even though I always thought of her as one of the "cool kids," we ended up bonding over a mutual love of manga. (Japanese comic books) From there it was reading books like Twilight that further strengthened and forever bonded us together.  I will never forget sitting in her room and reading New Moon together. We are states apart now, but our friendship is one that no matter how much time passes or how far apart we are, we still can pick up right were we left off.  In my humble opinion it is one of the best relationships a girl can have.

I am so grateful for such a beautiful friend both inside and out! (And pretty sassy too ;) )

Happy Monday!

Lebanon Hills Portrait Photography | Suzy

My wonderful sister headed to a new job this past week. She has now started working for an international cruise liner, the Norwegian Sun.
This is a whole new experience for her that I know she has been really nervous about starting. Like anyone starting a new job, she doesn't quite know what to expect. We had both agreed we wanted to go out to document the occasion. We headed out to a sunset filled shoot in the rolling hills of Lebanon Hills Park in Eagan, Minnesota.(It is known for its winding trails which I highly recommend if you are looking for a lovely walk.)

We went on our own trail through the tall grass. I was making sure to look where I was waking in case we might meet with a slithering new friend.  Suzy stunned in her beautiful session (Which was not hard for her as you can see). Suzy primarily shoots with her Nikon, with her new She did a great job in following what I asked and she did not land on her butt while running sideways on this hill.  All in all she looks to her next step and All we can say is Adventure is out there for anyone brave enough to follow it.
