Van Dusen Mansion Wedding Photography | Carlee & Brian | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

One of my favorite locations from last summer was at the Van dusen Mansion in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I had the pleasure of shooting with Gina Zeidler for Carlee and Brian wedding day!

The day was sunny and shining reflecting the attitudes and joy of this bride and groom! The girls got ready in the upper rooms of this stunning victorian style mansion, while the boys relaxed downstairs with the tv running and the pool table entertaining. The bride sent us down to deliver her gift to her groom and oh my goodness it was more of 18 gifts. I loved what Carlee did, all the gifts that she gave him were a nod to one moment or the other in their relationship, giving brian a walk down memory lane right before his walk down the aisle. So ROMANTIC! With all the finishing touches and slipped into her Kate Spade Shoes she had her first first look with the man she grew up loving, her dad. He just entranced with her bridal beauty and it was so precious to witness them seeing each other for the first time that day.

From there we ventured down stairs and out to the front to have a second first look with her groom. When he turned they were adorably giddy and just captivated by each other. From there we jumped on the party bus to do some more photos downtown Minneapolis. The views with the minneapolis bridge in the background are some of my favorites from the day.

When we got back Carlee had one more surprise up her sleeve, She added an attached ballgown to her dress.

The ceremony took place in the courtyard outside while surrounded by friends and family.

After the I do's was followed by party all night and a cigar bar for all!

Please enjoy Carlee and brian's beautiful Van Dusen Mansion wedding.

Lodge On The Lake Wedding Photography | Chelsey & Steve | Eagan Wedding Photogapher

Chelsey and Steve had been watching the weather all week and after lots of planning the day was finally here Sun and Cold and Beautiful fall colors. Chelsey was loving how everything turned out it brought her to tears multiple times even before she saw Steve!!

Although it was a colder fall day (it has snowed twice that morning ) the whole wedding party was a amazing and trusted me and we took some beautiful photos in the sun!

One of my favorite parts of the day happened during the ceremony. The ceremony took place at Lodge on the Lake. In an amphitheater style everyone was seated behind the building surrounded by the trees. The wedding party came out on the balcony walked across and down the stairs to where Steven Stood. As Chelsey and her dad Tony came out they stopped and looked out at all their guests for about 30 seconds just to help absorb the sight in. Steve was tearing up a little as he watched his beaming bride walk up to him. I lost it at that point.
The ceremony was done by a family member and for his first one he did a great job! After 9 years Chelsey and Steve said I do and became husband and wife !!!!! They could not have been more excited. We headed inside the lodge for the rest of the party! Chelsey’s table details where seriously giving me heart eyes with all the pumpkins and her flowers were done by Lisa with Forget me not florist and everything was just stunning!!

I loved serving this couple and I hope they feel that too as they honeymoon up north to celebrate their new marriage.

Enjoy their wedding day below!!

Lebanon Hills Wedding Photography | Jenna & Jason | Eagan Wedding Photographer

It was said during the day that this group had seen the highest highs and the lowest lows. But even with what could be called the worst of times God used those to mold the hearts of this couple to come together.

Jenna and Jason made sure to thank the people who stood by them and prayed for them and guided them to the other side. Their day was intimate and once they finally came together during the ceremony all the wedding day jitters flew away with the fall breeze.

Besides marriage Jenna was super excited about the Coffee Cart they had booked! Everyone made sure to get a couple of cups of specialty drinks and I have to admit i made my way one to two times to get the Maple Leaf Latte (aka heaven in my mouth) After the ceremony I whisked the bride and groom away for some portrait time at Lebanon Hills Regional Park which was just bursting with fall colors! They got some much needed cuddle time and whispered their favorite parts of the day. It was some much needed time as hubby and wife.

After heading back we spent the rest of the evening eating and celebrating their love with friend and family. Jason is originally from Nebraska! So you can imagine how excited they were that a lot of his family were willing to make it to be a part of their wedding day. Having those they loved with them made this day all the better.

Please enjoy their wedding below!!
