Dunya and D’Angelo meet when walked into a local convenience store. He normally saw men at the counter but this time he walked in an saw Dunya handling the counter instead. He asked her if she had a boyfriend Dunya said yes (even though she didn’t at the time) and he warned her that he was going to steal her in the future so he better watch out!

Fast forward and D ' Angelo was on crutches because he had been messing with a friend and rolled his ankle pretty bad. His nephew came up and told him that that pretty girl was working the cashier again. Through his siblings protest he hobbled over to the convenience store under the pretense of getting pop chips and cigarette s . Dunya took sympathy on his in his fragile state and brought the food out for him and he left that day with her number . They have been together ever since! Next year they will be celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary!

Spring felt like it was finally here in Minnesota and I was able to enjoy a little of it this past weekend with Bethany and Josh! We shot a couples session to document this moment in their relationship.

Josh and Bethany first meet playing volleyball together. At the time they were dating other people so just friendship blossomed. As circumstances changed and both of their relationship status moved to single, Josh started to pursue Bethany. Bethany wasn't really sure at first but they still kept hanging out which Josh took as a good sign! It was too long after that they made it official!

Just a couple of weeks ago they celebrated their 2 year anniversary of dating! 

Besides competitive volleyball they also enjoy time together watching their way through Parks & Rec! (Also one of my favorites!) Favorite episode we all agreed happened in season 3 when everyone got the flu. 

For their session we meet at Ritter Farm Park in Lakeville, Minnesota! When I had been there previously everything was snow covered. This week here in Minnesota all the snow melted away and melted quickly. So when we got there we were greeted by flooded walkways. The water was literally up past my ankles in some spots! Bethany and Josh were such troopers as we made our way through all the brush just to make these photos happen! And I think it was totally worth it because LOOK AT THESE PICTURES! We had so much fun catching up and capturing these beauties along the way!

Rice Park Couple Photography | Becca & Scott | Portraits

Rice Park Becca was the first to notice Scott back in high school. She tried to convenience their choir teacher their voices would work well together and if they had to throw in a couple other singers that was fine but for her and Scott should sing together. Scott admits that he was clueless for the longest time before he came to realize Becca's affections. But once they were finally on the same page it was magic. Now they have been dating for over two years excited spending time together over the Christmas holidays before being a part for the next semester in school.

They decided to get some photos done together for fun while on break from school! Our session was in the beautiful Rice Park, downtown St. Paul. We hit it right as the weather was the coldest at -14 degrees (not including that biting wind). These two were AMAZING even though it was literally way past freezing. I hope you enjoy their session as much as I did!
