Carrier and Pat decided a global pandemic would not hold their wedding dreams down! A couple of weeks before their wedding we had a small engagement session at Hidden Falls Regional Park which is a spot they enjoy right in their neighborhood!
We enjoyed our time talking about their big day and Pat especially loved the tree that reminded him of Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Any beach time is time well spent in my book!
I cannot wait to shoot their wedding day in just a couple of weeks for Gina Zeidler Photography!
Enjoy a small preview of their engagement session!

Megan & Alex
Megan and Alex got married on Saturday at Highland Hills! The planning was crazy all the way up to the day but the rain held off for these two and the night was all sunny skies! Megan hates the cold so she was more than delighted that it was warmer weather! But what was she more delighted about? She was marrying her best friend Alex.
The ceremony took place at the bottom of the hill with a green backdrop. The rug was a last minute addition that Alexβs mom had suggested. Alex and Megan loved the extra pop and feel it added to their simple setup. They had an intimate ceremony of 25 people who love them the deepest. Megan's brother Nick officiated the wedding which made for some fun comments of Megan's past and how happy he was when he heard the new guy she was dating (Alex) was a homeowner. Alex's little brother Archie gave the rings and Megan was able to get the ring on Alex's finger with only a little bit of struggle.
I asked Alex what he was looking forward to for today and he could not wait to get the party started! Megan was just excited to have all her friends there to celebrate with! After the ceremony, the guests started to trickle in for the reception starting off with cocktail hour! All the guests enjoyed drinks and the games set up in the back lawns for them to enjoy the evening with. Alex owns a coffee shop in Eden Prairie called Smiths; for their wedding favorites they had a Megan and Alex Blend for everyone to take home! I absolutely loved this idea! You could just tell by looking at the excitement on Alex and Meganβs faces as they greeted everyone of their guests that they were full of genuine joy! We ended with a handful of sunset portraits and I could not be more in love.
Thank you so much for letting me serve you guys on your wedding day! Please enjoy some of your wedding day photos below!

Ritter Farm Park Couples Photography| Bethany & Josh | Lakeville Couple Photographer
Spring felt like it was finally here in Minnesota and I was able to enjoy a little of it this past weekend with Bethany and Josh! We shot a couples session to document this moment in their relationship.
Josh and Bethany first meet playing volleyball together. At the time they were dating other people so just friendship blossomed. As circumstances changed and both of their relationship status moved to single, Josh started to pursue Bethany. Bethany wasn't really sure at first but they still kept hanging out which Josh took as a good sign! It was too long after that they made it official!
Just a couple of weeks ago they celebrated their 2 year anniversary of dating!
Besides competitive volleyball they also enjoy time together watching their way through Parks & Rec! (Also one of my favorites!) Favorite episode we all agreed happened in season 3 when everyone got the flu.
For their session we meet at Ritter Farm Park in Lakeville, Minnesota! When I had been there previously everything was snow covered. This week here in Minnesota all the snow melted away and melted quickly. So when we got there we were greeted by flooded walkways. The water was literally up past my ankles in some spots! Bethany and Josh were such troopers as we made our way through all the brush just to make these photos happen! And I think it was totally worth it because LOOK AT THESE PICTURES! We had so much fun catching up and capturing these beauties along the way!
Please enjoy their couples session below!
