Trip to Phoenix Arizona! | Personal | Phoenix Family Photographer

Marcus and I enjoyed a week in the Phoenix, Arizona sunshine to introduce Mae to her Arizona family! It was a whirlwind of a week for sure. But we enjoy time with family around the glendale/scottsdale area. We even checked out Sea Odysea in Scottsdale and the Wildlife World Zoo in Glendale. Sunday we had lunch over at Marcus’s Grandparents home and believe it or not Mae did SO great with these photos for the lack of sleep she had.

I was really worried about traveling with her for the first time and she did as good and even better than expected. For both flights she slept completely through. WOW! Now we are back home in Minnesota just trying to get sleep schedule back on track!

Enjoy some photos from our small trip!

A sunrise Arizona Elopement

When the pandemic hit Elopements set the Wedding World on fire. Having a small intimate wedding became a must for so many couples. The magic of just having your small core group of people did not make your wedding day any less special. In some cases having your wedding be SO intimate made it even more special.
I was lucky enough to do some hiking elopement photography with Jamie and Keenan; We did a Arizona sunrise photography session that was seriously magical.

I want more Sunrise sessions in my life and these two were willing enough to let me capture it.

A personal goal is to book and plan more elopements and weddings just like this. I want to be able to help my brides plan an ADVENTURE for their wedding experience they will never forget.

Jaimie and Keenan, thank you for being open for an adventure that was not the norm and I hope you enjoyed your Denny’s waffles after this.

If you think you would be open to adventure with me please reach out and let us make some magic together. <3

Josh Proposes to Bethany at Hyland Park!

Josh and Bethany have been going steady for a couple of years. They met while playing volleyball, which is a shared passion! They both knew it was time to start their lives together and started talking about marriage.

Josh had popped me up asking if I was available to capture his proposal at one of their favorite walking parks! It was a BEAUTIFUL snowy Sunday morning. It was the kind of snow that us just falling softly and making the whole world a winter wonderland.

As they were walking up to the dock I snuck behind them. They were chatting at the end of the dock drinking their coffee, when Josh all of a sudden drops his thermos off the dock. He bent down to fish it out of the snow and came up with the ring box. All I heard Bethany say is β€œYOU DROPPED IT ON PURPOSE!”
Bethany accepted Josh’s proposal!! It was so beautiful and exciting.
We spent a little extra time doing some more photos! These two decided to elope on the sunny beaches of Jamaica!
