Bride and Groom

Bryant Avenue Baptist Church Wedding Photography | Megan & Stefan | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Megan and Stefan met officially at college. Megan was really shy at first Stefan didn't think she was interested, it took a little bit of convincing but eventually Megan convinced him that she was completely interested. Unofficially they met when Stefan met Megan'sfather and he had Stefan waved at his family sitting in thecar. Little did he know he just waved at his future wife.

On the wedding day Megan and Stefan had me convinced within minutes that they could not be more excited to marry the other. Megan's details had me laughing with delight; her shoes were literally unicorns. If you know this bride at all you know how fitting they were and by the end of the night she convinced me that she was my unicorn bride! Stefan loved the shoes and his reaction had everyone giggling.

The music that drew people in was the soundtrack to Pride and Prejudice 2005, which was so beautifully played and set the mood. Megan walked downthe aisle to Studio Ghibli; the moment could not have been more beautiful.
As the reception came so did the rain, but it made sure to keep these two in mind because it didn't interrupt anything on the wedding day.  Having both worked at Caribou Coffee (Stefan very short time), their love of coffee was evident having their own coffee station with coffee bean favors for their guests to take home.

It was such a joy to take part in a small part of my MW Bride and Groom's lives. Congrats to such a sweet couple.

Eagan Hills Church Wedding Photography | Ashley & Hank McCarthy

Ashley and Hank's day was overflowing not with rain but with sunshine, smiles, and a whole lot of loving. Little things here or there ( lost eye lashes, adjustments to the time line, outdoor heat to name a few) did not have a damper on the day. Ashley is the kind of person who loves to laugh and loves to love others. She has a servants heart for those around her and it was very apparent through out the whole day. One of the most important things for this bride was to make time to go and have her grandfather see her in her wedding dress on her wedding day. We drove over to visit him at the VA after hair and makeup. It was one of the most tender moments to capture of the whole day. (Let me tell you, Heart strings PULLED!) She even got a smile from her grandpa. Her now Husband, Hank, is the strong silent type who is actually a really funny guy. All day Hank watched his stunning bride with a glowing smile. It was so much fun to capture. From the "I will's" at Eagan Hills Church to dancing the night away at Wabasha Caves in St. Paul, I declare the whole day to be a success! It wouldn't have been so wonderful if I hadn't gotten such an awesome and fun couple. Thank you for trusting me and risking your lives for the photos!

Riverview Vineyard Wedding Photography | Amara & Matt Olson

I was so blessed to have worked with such two lovely peope, as Matt and Amara.

Their day was sunny and bright like their love for one another. Matt & Amara are highschool Sweethearts, who have been together through all the ackward & confusing stages that life offers. Through call the changing things around them, one thing did not change; they both came out saying to each other, you're the one I choose. Once you find the one person you purpose in your heart to be with every love song makes sense. They displayed their love publically with family and friends around at the hilly Riverview Vineyard and Winery. Now both Matt and Amara had larger families than I realized. Most of Amara's bridal party was her sisters. And although I later heard them all deny it I caught a photo of almost all of them brushing away tears while this bride walked down the ailse. The Camera doesn't  lie ladies!  But that's ok they were all happy tears from everyone that day!  Congratulations to a new chapter for this bride and groom! I pray you always stay oncloudolson!
