Jennifer & Tom | Home Engagement Photography

Sometimes the comfort of your home is the place you just be yourself  I always encourage my couples to choose places that are comfortable; it makes it a little easier to have someone photographing you! It gives you the best memories with the person you love in a location you love! Jenny and Tom wanted to shoot within the comfort of their own home.

With a mutual love of family, board games, cats, and fine dinning Jenny was smitten with Tom from the beginning.
As Jennifer and Tom's relationship grew deeper their love has grown stronger.

These two lover birds enjoy spending time over board games together and with friends; both being notoriously competitive, things tend to be a little crazy at times. Tom is satisfied with losing as long as in the process he beats Jenny. Despite his best efforts, Jenny will win on occasion.

Furman University Elopement Photography| Events at the Davenport Wedding Photography | Heidi & Josh

Heidi, the Canadian hardworking girl, fell for Josh, a playful Italian.  When they had first meet it was through a mutual friend, but at the time Heidi was unavailable to date.
As time went on and their conversations grew deeper;so did their affection for one another.  Heidi's leap year birthday came up and she received the best birthday present, Josh's wedding vows. They had a small courthouse wedding surrounded by a couple of friends and a whole lot of love. They both wanted to share their love with others and decided to hold a reception at the Davenport in Greer, to which Marcus and myself were invited.
This was my first elopement and boy did I love it!! My favorite part of the day was the bride and groom portraits!! Having the opportunity to focus on just these two love birds was definitely the highlight of our East Coast Trip!
Josh's face seeing Heidi for the first time all dressed up and prettier up in her wedding dress was priceless.

So blessed to be a part of Heidi and Josh's unconventional love story and elopement; I loved every moment.

Bryant Avenue Baptist Church Wedding Photography | Megan & Stefan | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Megan and Stefan met officially at college. Megan was really shy at first Stefan didn't think she was interested, it took a little bit of convincing but eventually Megan convinced him that she was completely interested. Unofficially they met when Stefan met Megan'sfather and he had Stefan waved at his family sitting in thecar. Little did he know he just waved at his future wife.

On the wedding day Megan and Stefan had me convinced within minutes that they could not be more excited to marry the other. Megan's details had me laughing with delight; her shoes were literally unicorns. If you know this bride at all you know how fitting they were and by the end of the night she convinced me that she was my unicorn bride! Stefan loved the shoes and his reaction had everyone giggling.

The music that drew people in was the soundtrack to Pride and Prejudice 2005, which was so beautifully played and set the mood. Megan walked downthe aisle to Studio Ghibli; the moment could not have been more beautiful.
As the reception came so did the rain, but it made sure to keep these two in mind because it didn't interrupt anything on the wedding day.  Having both worked at Caribou Coffee (Stefan very short time), their love of coffee was evident having their own coffee station with coffee bean favors for their guests to take home.

It was such a joy to take part in a small part of my MW Bride and Groom's lives. Congrats to such a sweet couple.
