Jenna and Jason talked about how they never make it to the cities! So when we were hunting for a location I couldn't help but through in my favorite St. Paul in the mix. Jenna is a math teacher by trade so she made sure to emphasis that she looovvveed shapes. Well that just assured me we were cut from the same cloth because Harriet Island Park has had some shapes on my mind for a long while! I think we got some good ones while we explored.
Jenna and Jason met on Christian Mingle. Although they remember differently on the topic of what Jason was wearing in his profile picture, Jenna remembers how sharp he looked in his profile! After talking a bit back and forth Jason was taken with Jenna's words and they decided to meet. Jason is originally from Nebraska so meeting was definitely not as easy as it is for others. They chose a midway point and went on a date and just clicked. It went very well and after several trips back and forth they decided to choose each other and get married.
On a nice day out Jason took Jenna to Minihaha Falls Park to enjoy the beautiful May weather; he packed a picnic for them both. As they were sitting there enjoying each others company, he popped the question and she said yes! They celebrated with smiles and mimosas.

Como Park Pavilion Engagement Photography | Isabella & Steven | Minneapolis Engagement Photographer
Isabella and Steven met by chance in a cooking class when they both studied at St Paul College. Isabella was cute and quiet. Steven told me that she would hardly talk in class. So as Isabella started the class with the goal to become a better cook Steven's goal for that semester became one thing and one thing only. Get this beautiful quiet girl to talk to him.
He was definitely successful in his endeavor as they are on the road to matrimony. Steven does not consider himself a patient man when it came to proposing. He had the ring a total of ONE week trying to figure out the best way to purpose to the woman he loved. But instead he took to heart the phrase no better time then the present. As they were driving, the conversation of the engagement popped up. Steven pulled over right there, pulled out the ring that had been sitting in his pocket, and asked Isabella to marry him. She said YES! They are scheduled to get married next fall!
Please enjoy some of the photos we captured at their engagement session at COMO Park!
Spring Lake Park Engagement Photography | Michaila & Bailey | Minneapolis Engagement Photographer
Bailey and his family packed up and moved from Minnesota to Connecticut. His life was about to change in more ways than one. At his new church he joined in on the frequent Volleyball games the same place that Michaila happened to be a part of. Besides his good looks Michalia fell for his bubbly personality that she witnessed first hand. It wasn't too long after that that they were dating!!
Then one day this past April Bailey decided to get a ring on that figure! So he took Michaila to one of their favorite restaurants with a beautiful outdoor seating and was going to pop the question with a beautiful view outside as well as the handmade ring box he made. Unfortunately nature had different plans and the rain forced them to spend their date night inside. They were seated at a corner booth so Bailey trying ever so smoothly and truthfully a little awkwardly adjusted the box out of his pocket to finally pop the question. As you have probably guessed since they are doing the engagement photos that she said yes!! While they were visiting back in Minnesota they decided to invite me to shoot with them in one of their favorite parks!
